ChinaPulse.com has unveiled a new streamlined English-language Internet Yellow Pages search directory of over 600,000 businesses around China to assist travelers coming to China for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Started in 2000, ChinaPulse.com has now selected the 600,000 businesses most pertinent to foreign travelers to China from a database of millions managed by BDL Media Limited. These businesses include dedicated search directories of restaurants, hotels, Wi-Fi hotspots, medical facilities, travel agencies, embassies, cinemas, supermarkets and schools. All the information is freely available to users, and the data includes Chinese-language addresses and contact details, as well.

ChinaPulse.com previously had a dedicated mobile version, but now the entire website is optimized for viewing on iPhones amd other wireless devices, so both desktop and mobile users need only visit www.chinpaulse.com to view and search the same data. The first sponsors for the new ChinaPulse.com website are Air China and Kempinski Hotels.

The entire ChinaPulse.com database is culled from BDL Media's direct marketing database. BDL Media verifies its database throughout the year via its call center. BDL Media also syndicates its lists of Chinese businesses to companies like China.com.
